Back after 10 years: the Champs-Élysées Christmas Market makes its big comeback

Ten years. Ten winters without chalets on the most famous avenue in the world. On 22 November 2026, the Champs-Élysées Christmas Market is finally reborn, until 4 January 2027, at the bottom of the Champs-Élysées, in Paris’s 8th arrondissement. The most beautiful avenue in the world is ready to celebrate Christmas.

Ten years of waiting, a wonderland that ignites

Since the last edition in 2016, Parisians have never stopped thinking about it. The lights shone every winter, but the wooden chalets were missing. Today, the excitement is already here: Sortiraparis welcomes this comeback, France 3 Paris Île-de-France sees it as a meeting place for all families and Les Affiches Parisiennes report on the big return.

A return worthy of the avenue

After more than two months of procedure launched by the City of Paris, the project by 2A Organisation and the Comité Champs-Élysées was selected. The chalets will be Origine France Garantie, a showcase of “the best of what France can do”, according to Thibault Delourme, president of 2A Group. Exhibitors can still apply on sellulles.com.

22 November: the avenue lights up

On opening day, the avenue’s lights also switch on, on a pedestrianised avenue. Hundreds of trees sparkle, laughter rings out, eyes turn up towards the Arc de Triomphe: this is the magic of the holidays in all its splendour. Discover the other Christmas lights in Paris to extend the celebration.

Craftsmanship, gastronomy and mulled wine: a feast for the senses

Artisans, creators and producers unveil their local crafts and their original gift ideas. As for gastronomy, a mulled wine warms your hands, while the aromas of roasted chestnuts, crispy waffles and hearty tartiflettes awaken your taste buds.
